Member Meetings
General Meetings
Membership to the FDAA gives access to our General Meetings and Painting Days. Five General Meetings plus an Annual General Meeting are scheduled bi-monthly. Our General Meetings take place on Saturdays and are combined with either an Information or Painting Day. These days involve a guest artist who will take us through a set project or the chance to discover new products, techniques with representatives of art businesses and industry.
Our General Meetings & Painting Days are scheduled for Saturdays.

Our Annual General meeting is held in February. Induction of the Committee, presentation of Awards of Excellence winners and a Guest Speaker are some of the highlights of this wonderful social event.

How to Get There
By Car
- If travelling east along Mona Vale Road, entry to the Checkers Resort & Conference Centre is from Mona Vale Road, Terrey Hills.
- If travelling west along Mona Vale Road, entry to the Checkers Resort & Conference Centre is from Myoora Road - Mona Vale Road turn right at Aumuna Road, then left at the roundabout into Myoora Road.
- Plenty of parking available on site
- Limited disabled parking spaces are available. When RSVPing, please indicate if you will require this service.
By Public Transport
- Gordon Railway Station - Catch the 197 Forest Coach Lines bus departing 9.15am from Gordon Post Office Pacific Hwy. Arrive at 9.32am Forestway Fresh Fruit Markets Mona Vale Road then walk to 333 Mona Vale Road about 194 metres.
- Check with the Transport Info Line, 131 500, closer to the event for any changes.
